Yes, they sure would be nice to have but at the prices they are
asking, I think I'll look for an alternative source.  I didn't check
out the 2.9" but the 3.8" is $280 US and the 4" is $300 US.  Way to
steep for me.

In the past, I've used a 5" black and white TV with an RF modulator I
ripped out of an old dead pong type game system running from 12 VDC
and I was able to use my IIgs with it.  I could read the menu bar in
640x200 mode without any problems with that set up.  I haven't tried
it with my 7" colour portable TV yet.  I'll have to do that and let
you know how it looks.

Ideally, I'd like to get an old laptop system and steal the LCD screen
out of it.  I might even be able to track down a supplier of new LCD
screens but I haven't looked yet.  I can't really afford to buy one
and I don't have the time to play with one right now.

I'd be happy with 640x200 with 16 shades of gray but a higher
resolution with 256 grays or even colour would be really nice.
