This device looks like a printer adapter for an Apple product; it has an 8pin
mini din (same as apple desktop bus connector) on the end of a cable, and a 25
pin Centronics plug on the other end. There is an LED on the (rather large)
centronics end (obviously some electronics in that end). It is marked
'Advanced Components and Peripherals P/L, P/N 590-0839. Can anyone tell me
what Apple products this is suitable for, and what printers it is suitable for,
and if any special software is required to use it? Thanks. Doug
