     There are two common ways to get a screwed up composite display:

 1. The monitor's Horizontal Hold and/or Vertical Hold controls need to be
adjusted

 2. The monitor is not getting the correct level of video input.


     Usually, if displayed stuff seems to be bright and sharp but just jumping
up/down or squished sideways, you need to adjust V and/or H Hold.

     If the monochrome display works okay with the C-64 and the //c's work okay
with a TV used as a composite monitor, it is likely that the composite output
from each //c is too low or too high for the monochrome monitor. If the monitor
has some kind of Video Input Level control, try adjusting it.


     Something else to check is that the //c's really are being hooked up to the
TV via composite video. A popular //c accessory is a compact RF modulator module
that plugs in at the 15-pin Video plug. It has a standard RCA-type socket just
like the RCA socket on the //c.

     The RCA socket on the modulator module outputs RF on Ch 3 or Ch 4 which can
go, via a 'TV/Game Switch' to the VHF antenna inputs of a TV. This works fine;
but, if this signal is fed to a composite video monitor you won't get any kind
of useful display.

     The RCA socket on the //c itself outputs composite video. It is the one you
want to connect to a composite video monitor.
