I meant no offense, really. If starting a followup with this word is
considered rude, I'll try to stop doing it.

I've bought 1.1 a long time ago too. However, why not try to
make it available. Apple has actually been pretty compliant
as far as making old stuff available for free. For example, they
reclassified HyperCard for the IIGS as System Software when
users asked. Apple Australia let Apple II Manuals be reproduced
and distributed electronically. All we have to do is ask. It
can only serve to mend feelings of Apple II users toward Apple.
