     A check of the original Index and Joe's expanded Index indicates that a Joe
Walters (or, sometimes, J.L. Walters) contributed a couple deprotects in Issue
#61 as well as making the famous Krakowicz "Basics of Cracking" pieces available
somewhere around Issue #77.

     The Krakowicz pieces amount to an easy-to-read encyclopedia of techniques,
with examples, for software deprotection. It seems likely that the information
would have been lost had not Mr. Walters collected the pieces and kept them
organized. As, mainly, a reviewer, I seldom had direct contact with
contributors; but, I do know that Chuck Haight (the editor) valued the articles
highly.
