Disk Image Manipulation Software on the Mac

What's the best disk image manipulation software for the Mac (Snow Leopard)?

I've tried ADFS and I guess it's just too out of date or something. It crashes, and runs into an infinite error loop when I try to copy a file to a disk image.

Right now I'm using Apple Commander, because it mostly kind of works, but I have to force quit it every time I'm done and it sometimes refuses to read legitimate disk images, etc. etc.

Is there anything else better out there (for Mac)?

P.S. Re: Apple IIgs emulators: If they can't view 3200 color images (DreamGrafix) or run demo software (The Split Demo) then they can hardly claim to emulate a IIgs in my opinion. Who cares if you can run the finder when you can't run software that exploits the unique capabilities of the IIgs?

Thank you ActiveGS! (but a little documentation of your XML config file would be nice)
