Hmm. never thought of that. Mine is the metal sprayed on type but I never
thought of it in a special way, I thought all 'original' IIes were like
that.

Well, what I meant was that for a lot of it, it doesn't discolor as badly
as platinum plastic. Stuff still discolors when it's under sunlight or
unltraviolet light, but a lot of times if you don't have a perfectly
untouched one next to it, you wouldn't really notice...or else I've just
been lucky and only seen things which were lightly touched by sun or UV,
all over and uniformly...
BTW, what's a good price for an Apple III (or maybe even III+) and where
would be the best place to look? When people seel them online, they tend
to want/get too much for them (IMO) and I have yet to see one in my
standard 'circuit' of places and stuff...
