Can't help you with finding the chips for your memory expansion card, but
I CAN help with the ROM identification. The most obvious way to tell if
yu have a ROM 01 or ROM 3 is to boot the machine up. On the first screen
you get, it will say "Apple IIgs" at the top. If there is nothing at all
below that, then you have a ROM 0. Otherwise, at the bottom it will say
"Copyright blahblahblah Apple Computer..." and at the very bottom it will
either say "ROM Version 01" or "ROM Version 3". Another easy way to
tell if you have a ROM 01 or ROM 3 board is to look at the motherboard
itself. Look at about the middle of the motherboard. There will be
either one or two chips labeled "ROM". If you have one chip, it is
either a ROM 0 or a ROM 01. If there are two ROM chips, you have a ROM 3
board.
Hope this helps.
