There are a number of Unzip utilties available for the Apple II.  Off
the top of my head there is UnzipIIe and Angel (this code is also in
Agate) for the 8 bits and UnzipGS and PMPUnzip for the IIgs.

Angel and Agate are capable of Zipping a file but they can only Zip up
a single file and can't be used to Zip up mutliple files.  However, if
you put multiple files into a Binary II wrapper then you could Zip up
the resulting .BNY file if you really wanted to.  However it is
usually best to stick to used ShrinkIt on the Apple II just because it
is easier to deal with and far more common.

Technically speaking, 2qwk! is also capable of creating a .ZIP file
but it doesn't do any compression.  It just stores the uncompressed
data into a file with the necessary .ZIP headers.
