He mentioned the Mini-Assembler in the Enhanced //e and IIgs (not sure
about the //c...)--

If you do not have one of those machines...say you have an 'original' ][e,
or a ][+ with a Language Card or Integer BASIC ROM card, you can still get
to the Mini-Assembler, but it is a little more difficult--

Begin by getting into Integer BASIC, as the Mini-Assembler is part of
Integer BASIC.  On a ][e or //c (the IIgs has the mini-assembler built
in as Dave described) this means you need to boot with a DOS 3.3 System
Master.  Then enter Integer BASIC, then enter the Monitor from there, as
follows:
