Other than my tower case and PC power supply, my IIGS is a
normal ROM 3 unit. The Second Sight is one of the most useful
cards on my system. It DOES bring SVGA video to the IIGS.
If it were not introduced so late in the life of the IIGS, there will
be more software supporting it, but I can use it to display true
color pictures and even play some SVGA games on the IIGS.
That's pretty good. And if the QD2 patch ever gets written, all
desktop software will be enhanced.
I concede that Sequential should have written the QD2 patch
themselves and provide it for free, but the video card itself is
a good peripheral.
