newbie needs advice

I just recently bought an old Apple //c Enhanced for a few bucks at a thrift
shop.  I was wondering where to look for a modem, what kind of modem to look
for, and where to look for telcomm software.  Will I need a card as well as the
software and modem?

I already have a Practical Peripherals 14.4 modem which I used with an old
Macintosh.  Will that work with a //c?  If so, how do I go about setting up my
machine?
