Is that thermal printer called SylenType?

I just picked up a //c system with an apple thermal transfer
printer. Anyone ever use one of these? This one has a
really LOW serial number (00087) but needs some work.
It prints fine except for the rightmost half inch, here it just
prints all characters in one spot.
Is this thing worth anything to a collector?
