The way EDD reads a track is interesting as it determines which
nibbles are sync (40us) ones and which ones normal nibbles (32us). EDD
also contains two buffers of reference data that need to be kept.

I may have missed some points but I believe (third time) the main
ideas are here. If you gather all the previous information and
generate an image of it, you would handle 99% of the apple ii
protection schemes (I really would like to test that on Hold-Up with
its spiralling or on EDD and its weak bits) in both reading and
writing.

Please note that EDD is different from SST which is also different
from the ciderpress NIB images.
