If you run GEOS for the IIe, the extra speed is sorely needed.
GEOS is a graphical operating system for the 8-bit Apple IIe/IIc.
For the IIGS (a 16-bit unit), I kind of consider my 12.5Mhz speedup
to be needed all the time. ;-) After all, it runs in graphics mode all
the time.
