There is only one ROM version for the High-Speed SCSI card, so you don't
need to worry about that.
As far as I know, there is only one "revision" to the card, which is the
addition of a diode to allow the card to supply termination power to the
SCSI chain. Later cards sold by Apple had this preinstalled (no change
to the board number or any other identifying marks, to my knowledge),
and it can be retrofitted to earlier boards.
I prefer to leave it off (I bought my HS SCSI card shortly after they
were released), because having the computer supply termination power can
be quite a drain on the computer's power supply. I just make sure I
have a drive connected which is able to supply termination power itself.
