The no-slot-clock patch is not involved. My NSC driver is patched into
ProDOS after booting, so standard ProDOS is always booted. The NSC patch
is _NOT_ run on the IIe with the Timemaster.
If I boot standard ProDOS (v2.03) from a floppy, I get a date of 1993.
If I boot patched ProsDOS (v2.03) from a floppy, I get a date of 1999.
I don't know what ProDOS file is loaded when booting from Appleshare3.0.3
My concern is the ProDOS image is located in the Mac System Folder in the
file 'Apple //e Boot Blocks' and ProDOS is not loaded from a standard p8
system file.
My back-up plan is to extract the clock driver code from a patched ProDOS
(I hope the year table is in the driver code, can anyone confirm?). Then
I would install the driver code as a patch after ProDOS is loaded like I
do for the NSC and the Mountain Hardware Apple clock. Backup2 is to just
patch the year table in ProDOS after it is loaded. Maybe I should create
a Timemaster driver and just dump the native Thunderclock code (I run
my Timemaster in Thunderclock compatibility mode).
Thanks to Matt Ackeret and Rubywand for their suggestions. Being stuck
in 1993 is not the end of the world. Avoids the Y2K problem ;-)
