Oh, all right, you now have at least 1 visitor. (And, yes, enter my
name in the raffle!)

The late 1980's and early 1990's 'Dream Machine' stuff from A+ and
other Apple II magazines is kind of instructive. For example ...

Apple IIGS Graphics "Dream Machine"

Apple IIGS (Apple computer) $999
GS-RAM Plus, 6Mb (Applied Engineering) $3139
Apple Hard Disk 20SC with SCSI card (Apple Computer) $1198
Two Apple 3.5 Drives (Apple Computer) $798
Two Apple 5.25 Drives (Apple Computer) $598
Apple Color RGB Monitor (Apple Computer) $499
Apple Color composite monitor (Apple Computer) $379
KroyKolor Plus (Kroy) $875
Apple Extended Keyboard (Apple Computer) $229
IS/ADB graphics tablet (Kurta Corporation) $395
Thunder Scan ( Thunderware) $219
Computer Eyes GS (Kensington Microwave) $250
Serial Grappler + (Orange Micro) $89
Paintworks Gold (Activision) $100

                                            Total: $17,205

The $17,205 total must include some items not listed. The total for
the prices shown is just $9767-- a bargain! (Is the GS-RAM Plus price
from AE a misprint?)

After so many years, looking at prices like $1198 for a 20SC Hard
Disk w. controller reminds me just how grossly Apple blew it.

     Thanks for making this available.
