I have a problem with the date on some of my IIe's. The year is showing
up as 93 instead of 99, so today is 1/05/93 instead of 1/05/99.
This is easily fixed by updating ProDOS with Apple's "clock.patcher"
basic program; at least for my IIe's which boot from a disk or use
a clock.driver such as a no-slot clock.
However, the II's in question boot via appletalk from an Appleshare3.0
server. One uses a no-slot clock - no problem. The other uses a Time-
master clock. The Timemaster is set correctly and the timemaster utils
display the date as 1/05/99, but other programs (basic.system, davex,
Appleworks 5.1) see the date as 1/05/93. I've replaced the Prodos (p8)
program in the users folder, the servers boot system folder and even the
system folder for booting GS/OS. No luck - still 1/05/93.
What Prodos file does a networked IIe boot from on a Appleshare3.0 server?
Which file do I replace with a patched Prodos file?
Thanks for any help and suggestions.
