You could email some regular poster and request a few startup
diskettes. This would get you bootable DOS and ProDOS diskettes with
copy utilities (e.g. Copy II Plus), "ShrinkIt", a filetype changer util,
and an Apple II telecom utility (e.g. ZLink) to handle file transfers
from your PC or Mac to your Apple II. Probably, the cost will be $3-$5
to cover postage and materials.
A IIgs with at least one 3.5" drive and one 5.25" drive running
ProDOS 8 is plenty of computer for handling the transfers and doing .dsk
--> diskette conversions.
