Great Western Shootout secret message

It was a long time ago that I had found, using Deluxe Paint, a secret
message inside one of Great Western Shootout's title screens.  Is there
anyone else out there who had found this message?  There was also another
secret message *Within* the first one, that scrawled "Call me" and a phone
number who's area code is for the frisco bay area.  The number is long
since dead, but I'm just wondering if anyone had any history on this
interesting easter egg...
