Re: Read-speed of SCSI CD-rom players



I recently upgraded from 8X to 32X on my PC.  It is more helpful when
installing software.  Unfortunately, this should be of almost no concern to
Apple II users.  The Mac qould be a different story.  Go for as fast as you
can afford if you have any software that runs on a CD.
    On a related note, if someone had a CD-R on a PC or Mac, could they burn
a CD that could be read by an Apple IIe or IIgs?  Can the IIe have a
CD-ROM??
