Needed: Apple II files transferred from 5.25" to 3.5" disks
I have about a dozen old 5.25" double-sided Apple II disks, most DOS 3.3,
some ProDOS, with files on them (mostly just plain text files) that I'd
like to get onto 3.5" disks that can be read on some kind of modern computer
(Mac or PC, either way). 3.5" ProDOS format disks would be fine, I can
read those from a Mac.
Some possible solutions:
- I mail you the disks, you transfer the files for me. I pay you.
- You live in the Chicago area and have a machine that can do this
conversion (i.e., some kind of Apple II with both a 5.25" and a 3.5"
disk drive). I come by your place and do the transfer myself.
I pay you.
Any takers?
Anyone have any suggestions on how to get this stuff converted? My local
computer store wants $150/hour (grrrrr).
Thanks,
