CORRECT VOLTAGE FOR IIGS MOTHERBOARD BATTERy: 3.0V OR 3.6V?
I got another IIgs CPU ROM 1 ---- works perfectly except that the
battery was dead. Its battery was a 1/2 AA 3.0v, so I salvaged an
identical (good) battery from a scrapped Mac II.
Now, the control panel settings are preserved normally, BUT the IIGS clock
does not advance!
I looked at another IIgs Rom 1, and its battery is 3.6v DC.
Which battery voltage is optimum????
BTW, I SOLDERED the battery to the leads ---no hassle.
(I could never understand why "clip-on" was work $14 bucks!)
