I bought the LAST copy of ProLine Morgan had (one of two ProLine packages
I bought from him along with everything else he had, I really liked
MD BASIC). I know he was talking about letting ProLine into the public
domain, but I don't know if he ever officially did so. I ran a ProLine
BBS for 5 years (I took it down just a few weeks ago) and it was a dream
to run. In the 5 years we ran the BBS we never had a moment of down time
and it could literally run itself unattended infinitum. We often left it
alone for weeks when we were out of town to come back finding it humming
right along. We set up the maintenence logs to over-write themselves on
a weekly basis so they didn't slowly consume the hard drive. We closed up
shop when the usage dropped to the point were it didn't make a lot of
sense to keep it up. I'd still like to bring it back up as a part-time
board, though I probably won't.
