Hyperstudio question

My manual is at home & I am at school & I forget how to do this:

I made a template stack that kids are filling in. Whn I made it, I had 
"add new cards to group" preference checked as I premade forward & back 
buttons & made stock background as this was to be a QUICK project.

Problem is that now any art they add is automatically added to ALL the 
crads, which we dont want. If you are reading this & can help, please 
send a quick email to me w/ the answer.

Notice I dont mind revelaing myself as a bonehead user when I need to get 
a quick answer; I could wait till I get home to the manual, but we are 
working on the projects today!
