I would assume you mean the Apple II sounds (8 bit)

If you want this sound to go 'through' the card, clip the speaker from the
end of its leads, and solder the leads to the LINE OUT.  You'll probably
need a diode so the GS doesn't get confused getting input from the LINE OUT
or the SPEAKER OUT.

The way I get 8bit and Ensoniq sound through the same speaker is through
cabling  outside of my GS, going to the stereo system
