Yeah, here's my setup. I have a 20Mb ProDOS format partition named 'PROFILE'.
(With DSK2FILE and some other files on it)...I boot up DSK2FILE by
double-clicking it from the Finder. Sort of convenient actually.
Set options correctly, i.e DOS 3.3, 140k, etc
select 'write image back to disk' or however it is worded.
tell it /PROFILE/DISK/MYDISK.DSK (the complete path) which is definitely a
DOS 3.3 disk.
it writes it back to disk in a minute or two (or about 10 minutes if the
disk wasn't formatted already though) no errors. but the disk just doesn't
work. like I described in the previous post. and it doesn't matter what it
is.
I can image a disk, say AppleWorks or something, and the image is fine, it
works beautiful in an emulator...but if I try to take that same image and
write it back to disk...failure. I've tried 2 different drives on the off
chance that it was the drive, but it didn't make a difference.
Is it possible that it is the card or emulation software? I know that a
couple versions of the IIe Startup app had major problems with disk
things, like always reporting a disk as write-protected or not even seeing
it at all. I am using the newest (non-beta) version of IIe Startup, which
is 2.2.1 I believe. There is a .2d version out there, but it only
addresses a few issues with some other computers like, I believe the 550.
and it caused a bunch of problems for me...

Thanks if anyone can help...
