Or upgrading the ROM! The ROM contains the programming
for the cache size. Unlike the ZipGS, which all logic is locked
into a soldered ASIC, the TWGS is designed to be a more
open system.
The original ROM supported 8k of cache. Later ones
supported 32k. 64k and beyond is possible with higher density
cache RAM chips and new ROM programming.
