No, not the red book, but the later one with the description of the
Autostart ROM.  Spiral bound like all the old Apple manuals.  I think I
might have a copy of THE DOS MANUAL someplace, but it is the DOS 3.3
manual.  My parents have the ][e manuals including the "new" DOS 3.3
manuals.  The Apple ][ I used was at school, and it didn;t require a
RESET, but someone else noted that was probably because the machine had a
Disk ][ interface card which apparently generates a RESET on power-up. 
I'd never heard of that.

I have an Apple ][e in the bedroom closet, a disused IIgs and Lisa 2/5 in
a pile in the kitchen, a IIc on the floor behind me, and an enhanced //e
at the other end of this desk.  I'm typing this on a ROM 01 IIgs.  That's
my whole Apple collection; the only machine newer than the GS is the Psion
3a in my pocket.
