Ouch.

I did not mean the above PS to sound sarcastic, although
looking at the quotes above, it could be construed as.

What I meant to say was that I tried twice to round up the
Apple II AOL users to the chat room.  The first time around,
I tried to get the users together daily at 10PM Eastern Time.
That didn't work.

The second time around, I tried to get us all to gather at
10PM on Dec 3 because the chat button on the forum
reminded me that Apple II users used to meet there on
the first Thursday of each month once upon a time.

This time, it worked.

The above PS was just meant to let you know that it
worked this second time around and that I'm sorry
it didn't the first time around, when you visited the
chat room and that, maybe, you might be interested
in joining us next month if we do it again.

Basically, apparently, folks responded better to the
"first Thursday of the month" call than to the "daily"
call.

Sorry about the misunderstanding....
