I bought an Apple ][e (the one with the internal number pad) and genuine
Apple color monitor
from a charity shop. The motherboard is marked "International NTSC", but I
have been
unable to a color picture on the monitor when it is connected to other
equipment that has an
NTSC video output (in particular a 3DO game console).
Did the NTSC output on this ][e differ from the "normal" NTSC in any way?
If so is it
possible to adjust the monitor so I will get color from the afore mentioned
3DO and other
devices?
If it makes any difference to get color from the 3DO using my other Sony
monitor the switch
has to be set to the NTSC position, not the NTSC4.43 position..
Also if anyone local to me is interested I may be selling my ][e's (and my
macs)... I need the
space for other machines that I am collecting... There is the afore
mentioned ][e and monitor
(though if I can get the monitor working I will keep it), the other is the
version without the number
pad, it has an RGB card and monitor (which produces a better clearer picture
that the NTSC
monitor), one of the machines had a 1Mb RAM card in it (genuine apple)
