Here is some information about the IIgs power supply ...

001- Does anyone have pin-out and current ratings info for
     the Apple IIgs Power Supply?

  7 - 5 Volts 0.25 Amps
  6 -12 Volts 0.25 Amps
  5 +12 Volts 1.0 Amps
  4 + 5 Volts 4.0 Amps
  3 --nc--
  2 GND
  1 GND

The Power Supply connector pins are numbered as above. When you are
sitting in front of the computer, pin 1 is nearest you. (i.e. pin 7 is
nearest to the back of the motherboard).

I do not know the ratings for the MacSE /30 power supply. (They may
be printed on a sticker on the unit.) If the Mac's PS can deliver the
required voltages and match or exceed the specs for current, it may work
fine.

One of the major limitations to using other supplies in the GS is
fit. The GS supply snaps into place above the motherboard and leaves
space beneath it for air flow to prevent motherboard IC's from
overheating. A different supply is likely to take some work to get it
mounted correctly, allow access to an On/Off switch, and allow
connecting the AC cord.

Another option is to go with one of the Buggie external supplies.
These are PC units which sit outside of the GS with a cable to connect
to the motherboard.
