Bev, I've never actually used Superscript or Subscript so I guess I'll 
cross that bridge if and when I come to it.

Joe, again thanks for your help. The quote from the HP home page is a 
little too techie for me so I'm glad you offered an English translation :). 
I have a Grappler+ parallel card that I use with my old dot matrix printer. 
Presumably that will do the job?
