Asimov or DSK2FILE should convert a "DOS Order" dsk file to 5.25"
diskette.

One possible problem is that you are working with a file which is
in some zipped form. (If actual file length viewed via Icon Info under
the usual GS Finder display is less than 143360 bytes, the file is
likely to be corrupted or in compressed form.) The best place to
uncompress downloaded dsk.gz, etc. files is on the PC using WinZip.

You could use classic Appleworks-- like Appleworks 5-- it runs fine
on the GS. Other options include the compact super-res text editor
programs CoolWriter and Shadowrite. They will load Appleworks word
processor documents and allow saving in Teach format or plain text.
