Actually, one of the best features of the Laser 128 is that it *will*
take a 3.5" drive without an extra card. If you set the jumper/switch to
make Slot 7 internal, you get the equivalent of a Universal Drive
Controller (UDC). This controller will not only drive a 3.5" Unidisk,
but also an Apple 3.5" drive and even a Mac floppy drive (though you'll
have to use a paper clip to eject). 

I believe it may even be able to drive the old HD20 floppy port hard
drive for the Mac.
