The software is OMNIS 2 or 3c for Apple2 ; Version : 204 DAB
It seems written in Pascal 1.1

Two floppies are used simultaneously in the 2 drives:
Floppy 1 : one side is "SYSTEM"  (/OMSYS:)
                  one side is "DATA" (/OMDATA:)
Floppy 2 : one side is "CONFIG" (/OMCONF:)


My old friend uses it since year 1986 for his stock exchange management
This program is like a spreadsheet with database
I have read somewhere that OMNIS 3  was developed by Blyth computer.. (?)
My friend has English language version but uses French language version ,
adapted by "Information douce" in Paris - France (Software company not
found)

The problem :
Example  N�1 : The date format of Year 2000 (and after) is normally
understood when he writes that a stock exchange unit starting from year 98
must be paid for example, after 5 or 6 years : in this case, the year
98+5=2003 is normally understood and written in date format (dd/mm/yy in
French)
Example N�2 : He has simulated what will happens in 2000 : He have seen that
the soft doesn't accept to write in date format the starting year "2000" (or
after), so, if my friend buy in year 2000 a new stock exchange unit, this
starting year cannot be understood and nothing can be calculated by the
soft...

This difference between these 2 examples made a surprise for me and I don't
know how to help my friend.

Any idea ?
