I have two EZ135's. Put not connected to my GS yet !

My first drive I have had NO trouble with in the 2 year's I"ve had it.
The second one that's 'well used' off a PC user who got Pis*ed off at it
cause it kept freek'in out win3.1 managed to pull/break the little
plastic cap off the insert/eject handle. [BlueTak fixed that real quick
(: ] This second drive will sometimes not mount or spin up when I insert
a cart and slide the handle over to load it in. But, you can tell if
it's not gonna mount cause the motor does'nt spin up ! Solution, I have
found taking the cart out of the drive powering the drive down--wait a
few sec's 10-15. Then powerup again, slowly push the cart into the drive
and "Make-Sure" it's seated all the way into the drive. {Push the cart
gently but firmly to the back of the slot.} This has been a 100%
effective for me.

hope it's off use !
