I was pretty fortunate.  A guy was selling a lot of old computer
systems at a garage sale and just happened to have a box with two //c
LCD display units in as-new condition (one opened and the other shrink
wrapped with manual and box).  It certainly pays to look around if one
wants to find rare apple // peripherals and accessories.  

The guy who sold me the //c LCD display units had no idea what they
were :)

Unfortunately the legibility of the LCD display is a problem (for me
anyway).  Other users have suggested I give the LCD unit adequate
lighting but this doesn't seem to help.  Oh well, I'll still keep the
units as attractive display models  :)

Well, since I've never used or even seen a //c+ (they were never sold
in Australia) I was wondering .. are most //c peripherals/cables
interchangable with a //c+? (eg. memory exp boards, LCD display units,
platinum Apple 3.5 & 5.25" drives etc ...).
