Actually, after someone pointed this out to me it has made perfect
sense to me ever since. :-)
Unlike the Operating System versions is evidenced by my screwing them
up like this:

To remember that ROM 2.0 is actually referring to the ROM 01 is way
easier to keep track of than all the differenct versions of the System
Software/ProDOS 16/GS/OS versions. At least with the ROM numbering
you don't need a database to remember it. :-)
But it all boils down to the fact that they are both quite confusing.
