Hit OpenApple-Control-Escape together, you'll see a control panel.
Enter the Control Panel, go to System Speed...

In a word, yes.  <bseg!>  Which lead to some lawsuits by Apple against
Microsoft a few years back, over a concept called "look and feel."  I
hate to say it but Microsoft won due to Apple signing an agreement
only pertinent to "Windows version 1.0" saying they *could* do that.
