Why reinvent the wheel? The price of materials will probably match
the price of a prefabricated tower case.

I haven't measured it, but it looks about 7 inches wide, maybe (just
eyeballing it) 18 inches deep, and fits just under my desk high.
If you are making the case yourself, you can probably contour
it more tightly.
