No, Vince diforced and got his BBS down. I think he did have it running
for a while, but he had almost no time to keep supporting it. Finally it
went down, after disappearing from the network due to a difference in
software versions.

His interface was real cool, and he sent me via snail mail a copy of his
BBS yeaaaaars ago. I liked it very much and got involved into METAL/
Futurevision (the software). Not with the development of it, but I did
learn the programming language a bit. Later I downloaded the latest
version and started implementing Vince's great interface into the newest
software. It was only till last year November that I had my system
running; I took it down after my parents moved and that I lost most of
my userbase. My plans are to get online again, but that costs quite a
bit of time, effort and some money for the phoneline. The biggest
problem is building up the userbase again.

Aah, good "old" times. BTW, some of the Futurenet BBS's are still
online, like Anti-Matter from David Miller and AUG-Sweden from Magnus
Ericson. Try to telnet to lost-gonzo.com to access one system via the
internet!
