You only need a single cable: the one that normally goes from either of
these computers to the ImageWriter II.
I've never tried using printer cables with DB-25 connectors, but I
expect it would work as you describe.
There might be an issue with the type of wire used and/or connector
characteristics, as LocalTalk is significantly faster than asynchronous,
and is more likely to be affected by signal reflections. Another factor
is that these cables omit the positive logic data lines, which allow for
more reliable signal transmission.
