To each his own, I guess.

But I find it about the same to read either Usenet or Delphi because I
read messages from both places offline.  No need to do it all while
online.

If you have a paid account on Delphi (from as low as $35 US/year) you
can use one of a number of offline readers.  Three of which run on
Apple IIs (only two of which are currently available to the public,
the third is still in development).
