Try setting your HD's ID to 6. The drive you plan to boot from
should have the highest ID number on a SCSI chain. Since some interface
cards use ID 7, the usual ID for a boot drive is 6.

Since the boot is from the non-SCSI Focus drive, this makes sense.

Setting the ID of the SCSI HD to 6 should fix things.
