This is the way we run the (80MB) Focus drive in our GS. It's
worked fine for years, including many all-night sessions.

As fas as I know, there are no DIP switches on the Focus card the
user is supposed to mess with.

The Focus time-out period is normally set via the Focus CDEV (a
"control panel" accessed via clicking on the Apple symbol on the left
side of the GS/OS menu bar). "Time-out" is the time the drive needs to
be idle before it will spin down. The Focus CDEV used to have a minor
error: most to the time-out numbers shown were twice the actual time-out
period used.
