Proterm Pricing

The discussion here about ProTerm's being priced at $60 being too much is
pretty much irrelevant. The program originally sold for $99, so it's a
bargain compared to that. 

If you're diligent, you can probably find someone selling an entire Apple
II system for sixty bucks, and they'll throw in all their software.
There's a good possibility that you can pick up Proterm used either that
way, or by asking around on the net. A used copy should be fairly cheap.

This, of course, is the big problem with developing new Apple II software.
You're competeing against all the legitimate, boxed copies that people are
giving away of other stuff. If I've got 500 Apple II programs sitting in
my basement, there's got to be a pretty compelling reason for me to spend
more than a few bucks on anything I don't have.

Oh well. That's life.
