Janice, there is one package called ProTERM 3.1 for the Apple II.
It can be bought at a site called http://www.intrec.com/ and it is
a very comprehensive program that is very powerful. Zmodem,
Ymodem, Kermit, Xmodem, Ymodem-G, VT100, ANSI, seperate
scroll back and capture buffers, an AppleWorks like editor, a
mouse and menus interface (mouse optional, you can use key
equivalents), a powerful macro language. It has everything.
However, this is one of the last commercial programs for the
Apple II and it carries a price tag. I strongly recommend this
program, though. For these capabilities, it is worth the price in
my opinion.
It works just like ProComm would, connecting to a shell
account or a BBS.
