Re: IIgs/PC Network Development

Considering you've never even tried to contact me aside from abusing me,
and the only information you have on me is either through Turley and his
butt buddies, or from my intentionally hostile csa2 posts, I can believe
that. The truth is actually somewhat different, which you would realise if
you'd done some research.

Not exactly. I already have Marinetti running over AppleTalk/LocalTalk,
and have done for a long time. I'm also not the only one using it. Whether
the code makes it onto the internet at large, is another story. The usual
bullshit from people who don't even know me is usually enough to make me
decide no. But like I said up-topic, the 120 page Programmers' Guide for
Marinetti 2.0 will be available in a few weeks. Feel free to download it
and write what you're after. Shouldn't be any more than a couple of K. I
also have it running over Ethernet, but hey, you didn't directly ask about
Ethernet.

For starters, you've never tried to register, so the only thing supporting
this statement is heresay from whom? Try visiting
www.apple2.org/marinetti, and see what you get.
For the record, of the 106 people who made the decision to register
Marinetti 1.0b1, I rejected only 6, and they were extreme cases based on
past csa2 posts. Also remember that it was beta software, not wide
release. Turley didn't even try to register, neither did Rubywand, the
great Apple II supporters that they are. In fact neither did many of the
people who were complaining about it in the first place. Quite amusing
really how bullshit starts.

My "ego" only comes out to play when people feel its OK to reward Apple II
developers by uploading their commercial works to public ftp sites. You're
a supporter of this, and you're expecting "GS/OS developers" to assist
you? The "nice folks" on Delphi don't seem to do that.
I really don't know why I'm posting this. Even though I'm actually being
helpful, get ready for the usual rants from arseholes who'd rather I just
fuck off and die. I guess its just one of those days. I picked up the
wrong persona before I logged on. Ooops...
We now return you to your regularly scheduled Turley and Rubywand rants...
